This will mark the third year that Writers West has offered a great panel of experts plus information sessions and group discussion on crucial issues facing authors in the digital age. All writers, whether established or emerging, are welcome to attend. You need not be a member of Writers West.
The Business & Information Meeting (2:30-4:30 pm) will be followed by a potluck feast and a tour of the land at The Commons.
FERRIES: Ferry to Gabriola departs from downtown Nanaimo approximately hourly throughout the day and evening. It’s a 21-minute crossing. Catch the 12:00 pm or 1:15 pm ferry over to Gabriola. Last ferry back to Nanaimo is 11:00 pm. Ferry schedule here.
SHUTTLE SERVICE: If you would like to be picked up from the Gabriola ferry and driven to the Commons, please email Katherine Gordon at: email@example.com .
Alternatively, you can bring a car across or walk to the Commons from the ferry. It is a 1.3 km distance, some of it uphill. About a 20-minute walk.
BRING: a dish for the potluck, your beverage of choice, your books for the book table.
