My books now at Powell’s

I am pleased to announce that my two poetry books – RED ZONE and Ride Backwards on Dragon – are now available in Portland, Oregon, at Powell’s on Hawthorne. And that means they can also now be ordered online at www.powells.com.

When I was down in Portland last month for a family wedding, I stopped in at Powell’s on Hawthorne where staff immediately purchased copies of each of my books. Powell’s has got to be the greatest bookstore in the world! They are certainly one of the biggest. I have been buying new and used books at Powell’s practically since their first store opened in 1971 on the corner of 10th and Burnside in downtown Portland, in a capacious building that had been a car dealership in a former life.

Powell’s now has five store locations in metro Portland, including Powell’s on Hawthorne where my poetry books can be found. Powell’s on Hawthorne is located in Portland’s east side in the colourful Hawthorne District near Mt. Tabor, the world’s only extinct volcano residing within city limits.
