Roaming Poets in Qualicum Beach

Poetry takes to the streets of Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island on Saturday, October 1st. Four of us will be wandering hither and yon in downtown Qualicum (okay, it’s a little more structured than that) delivering verse to the townsfolk.

Bring a poem of your own for the open mic segment.

We are: David Fraser, Yvonne Blomer, Daniela Elza and Kim Goldberg.

You can catch us at The Old School House (TOSH) Arts Centre at 1:00 pm

…and at Town Square beside Vancouver Island Regional Library at 2:30 pm

Come and stroll with us, talk poetry, hear some great poems, meet four cool poets, and share a poem of your own if you want. And breathe in the fresh air!

Sponsored by the League of Canadian Poets, the Canada Council for the Arts, and WordStorm Society for the Arts.

See you on the streets. 😉

Hi Victor. You are welcome to join us and read one of your own poems during the open mic portion of the event, if you want. Only one poem per person at open mic. The four of us who are featured readers will be reading more, of course. I think all the info about the schedule is in the original posting – 1:00 pm at The Old School House Art Gallery in Qualicum, and then we will roam over to the Town Square by the library at 2:30. Join us either location to read your poem if you want. 🙂
