More than 300 people turned up in downtown Nanaimo today as part of the worldwide day of action taking place in support of what started last month in New York City as Occupy Wall Street. Today’s mass actions are decrying the corporate greed and economic inequality plaguing our cities, our nations and the entire planet.
By 5:30 pm, tents were going up for those who planned to spend the night.
Here are a few of my photos. My full album of the day’s event is on Facebook. (All photos (c) Kim Goldberg, 2011.)

expression is not quite correct….as we work for the 99% and no one else…yes I am in the field
and certainly an AGENT OF CHANGE….nothing more nothing less…We do not forget, We do not
forgive, We are Legion and We are you and you are me….Its time to stop supporting the banks who make all the wars against innocent people for nothing more than PROFIT.
