Eco-Poetry Chapbook Launched

We launched our eco-poetry chapbook, Igniting the Green Fuse: Four Canadian Women Poets, last weekend in Seattle at the inaugural Cascadia Poetry Festival.

The book features the work of Kim Goldberg, Catherine Owen, Kate Braid, and Heidi Greco. The four of us presented a panel discussion and workshop on eco-poetry at the Cascadia Festival. And we wanted to create a tangible/textual extension of our work for people to take away. (It’s also a super cool piece of festival memorabilia.)

The chapbook is $10 for a signed and numbered copy. And they are going fast! Just 100 copies printed in this limited edition.

Each copy was hand-sewn by Catherine Owen and Warren Dean Fulton of Above & Beyond Productions. The cover was designed by George Omorean, with cover photo and cyanotype by Heidi Greco.

All four of us have copies for sale. If you want a copy from me, mail $10 (Canadian) in cash or cheque to:

Or use PayPal to email $10 (Canadian) to: goldberg@ncf.ca

May the metaphors be with you,
Kim Goldberg
