Six of us shared our words and art today, at Nanaimo Harbourfront Library, from the new anthology Living Artfully: Reflections from the Far West Coast. In this collection, 42 painters, writers, carvers, and performers from Vancouver Island and adjacent coastal islands reflect on the interrelationship of geography and creativity when living on the edge of the world.

Next launch party for this book is in Victoria on November 2, 2012, at Moka House on Hillside, 7:30 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend!

  1. I was so sorry to miss this today. I’m doing final edits for my own upcoming book (Beaver Bluff: The Librarian Stories) which are due in tomorrow, and I’ve had a day full of frustrations of many sorts. I’m sure it was wonderful!
