Dam Dogs

A few of the splendid canines on hand this afternoon for the unofficial unmeeting* to save Nanaimo’s historic Colliery Dam Park – a much-loved and much-used city park, which five members of Nanaimo City Council plan to begin demolishing in a matter of days. #WorstIdeaEver #Dunderheads

For more info, visit Colliery Dams Preservation Society or the Save Colliery Dams group  on Facebook.

* (“Real” meetings in this public park will arm the City with a fascistic court injunction to criminalize citizens who are using the park and exercising their Charter rights, hence the need for unofficial unmeetings. Remember when “democracy” meant that system of government in which the people tell the government what to do…?)
