Happy 80th Joe Rosenblatt!

My friend and colleague Joe Rosenblatt turned 80 on Boxing Day. And a bunch of us artsy fartsy types (plus a few real people who’ve done an honest day’s work) celebrated the grand occasion at Joe & Faye’s home in Qualicum on Thursday night, warmed by the flaming sugar cubes in absinthe.

And here I am sandwiched between my pals Catherine Owen and Karen Moe. (My thanks to Karen for supplying this photo.)

Other party-goers included Warren Dean Fulton, Heidi Greco & George, Roy Ostling, other Roy, Peter Milroy, Marci Katz, Bill Friesen, Allan Dunfield, Pleuka Boyce, Richard Boyce… and lots more!

Happy Birthday Joe!
